Effective October 1, 2023, the City of Cotati will no longer be using Nixle to issue emergency alerts and community notifications. The City of Cotati will be transitioning to Cotati Alerts (CivicPlus Mass Notification System) to send emergency alerts and other notifications.
To continue to receive emergency alerts and community notifications, you must sign up with Cotati Alerts (CivicPlus Mass Notification System) no later than October 1, 2023. Using Cotati Alerts (CivicPlus Mass Notification System), you can elect to receive phone calls, text messages, and/or emails for any of the following notification categories to keep you safe and informed:
- Emergency Alerts
- General Notifications
- Police Notifications
- Recreation Events
- Road Work / Construction
Once you register, you will receive a verification email or text. You will not receive alerts or notifications until you verify your account.
