The City has begun the process to update the Santero Way Specific Plan (SWSP), which is a neighborhood plan that sets the rules for development around the SMART train station. The goal of this project is to pivot the current SWSP away from the office and commercial zone originally envisioned 20 years ago, to a residentially focused transit-oriented neighborhood, that also allows for neighborhood-serving retail and community-oriented uses. For this plan update to be successful, we need to hear from members of the community! Please take our survey to provide your direct feedback on the draft plan.
